A) 4-Question Interviews and Introductions
The Process: Using the four questions below, interview someone in the class who you do not know or have not spoken with very much. Be prepared to introduce this person to the room based on your interview. |

1) You will see many books in the room that will be used in the course. Find one that you would like to peruse right now.
2) Get comfortable with the book that you have chosen. Read the introduction or some other set of opening pages that pique your interest. Be prepared to tell your colleagues what you learned.
3) In writing (to be collected), answer the following: why did you pick this? what did you find most interesting about what you read? What questions or issues does this text raise for the class this semester?
